2nd week of Classes!

Well, the second week of company classes and we are still seeing interest in our younger companies....yea! We want to welcome all the new company members this year!

Lots of interest in our Children's Classes, too! We are so excited for the full season to begin on August 30th!

On Monday, Misha Vickroy, started her contemporary choreography for X'treme (RDC's top company) and by the looks of it, it will be amazing! Congratulations to those dancers who auditioned and are not learning this dance. Word on the dance floor is that the ballet class that followed, taught by Chris Anderson, was GREAT!

Advanced Hip hop with Natalie Keyes on Tuesday was nothing but AMAZING! We want to wish her luck in getting the job in L.A., but honestly we won't cry if she doesn't, because she will then be able to teach for us....but we're not holding our breath. :-) Good luck Natalie!

The dancers in Level 1 are rocking the dance floor. I watched them as they worked hard in ballet and jazz. They are improving with every class. Watch out Level 2! Speaking of Level 2, they were great in Tap on Tuesday - thank you for the hard work.

The rest of the week was pretty routine, except for Thursday! I was lucky enough to teach Level 1 and Level 3 Tap and they "Bust a Move"! Also, Annette is putting WANTED back on the competition circuit with new, updated choreography! Good luck Ultra in this amazing dance!

Quoting Ellen: "It doesn't matter if you have ever had a dance class in your life, which I haven't, maybe you couldn't tell. But everybody should do this [dance], it is so much fun."

Quoting Thomas Edison: "If we did all the things we are capable of doing, we would literally astound ourselves."
